Overview:
This
course is an intensive, hands-on practical choice as
your first course in taxation. This class will help you
better understand tax laws and will improve the
reporting quality of your tax returns.
This class examines basic income tax structure as
it applies to individuals and sole
proprietorships.
Topics include, but are not limited to, gross
income, adjustments, exemptions, deductions &
itemized deductions, self-employment activities, rental
activities, business expenses & deductions. At the
end of this course you should be able to properly
prepare an average income tax return, containing
self-employment
and rental income. Emphasis is on common
problems.
